The tournament is an IBF sanctionned event and part of the European Junior
Badminton Circuit. It will be played in full accordance with the
Laws of Badminton and the Competition Regulations. In the event of
any dispute, the Referee's decision shall be final.
Entries
a) The tournament is open to all players under 19. Competitors
shall be members of clubs belonging to an organisation registered with the
IBF.
b) Entry forms must reach the FEDERATION FRANCAISE de BADMINTON, by Friday 4th October 2002.
c) If necessary, entries will be selected according to strength.
d) Entry fees (in euros, to be paid prior to the tournament) are
12 € per competitor for the singles and 16 € per pair for the doubles.
f) The draw will take place the 22nd October 2002.
System of play
All five events will be played according to a simple knockout system.
The scoring system will be decided when the decision of IBF and EBU is known.
Match conditions
a) Competitors must be prepared to play at the scheduled time, quoted in the entry
form. No exception will be made to this rule.
b) Shuttles will be free of charge.
c) An umpire and line judges will be appointed to each match.
d) During the tournament, a physiotherapist will be available for the
competitors, free of charge.
Clothing and advertising
Clothing worn by players during play shall be acceptable badminton sports
clothing as defined in the IBF Competition Regulations articles 15, 16,
17, 18 and 19.
